Following evaluation sessions with project experts, teachers and users, the LAP Platform (http://learningaboutpolitics.eu) went through a series of revisions meant to enhance the attractiveness of the design, faciliate navigation and easy access to all the educational resources available. A new space especially dedicated for teachers was added, the PAC Club, a community of educators interested to share knowledge and build on their experiences together.
To accommodate these changes, the LAP Platform Handbook also went through a set of revision meant to illustrate all the new functionalities. Each chapter of the new Handbook focuses on a specific topic, as follows: the introductory chapter offers an overview of the main pages of the Platform, introducing the Digital Stories, the Tutorial, the PAC Club and the national blogs, the second one invites the user to register and start building his profile on the LAP Platform, engage in forum discussion, create groups and make friends, while the last chapters explore the editing functions, showing through step by step guides, screenshots and examples how to edit and post, to insert videos and images and take into account copyright issues by using the Creative Commons licenses.
Go to Press Room to download your copy of the LAP Platform Handbook or access it at http://wiki.agroknow.gr/politics/images/LAP_Platform_Handbook.pdf.
